Where plumbing sits in the membership

Plumbing is part of King’s Shield, the whole-home plan at $20/month. What that plan states today is two bundled seasonal visits covering HVAC, plumbing and electrical, so the plumbing side of the house gets looked at on a schedule rather than only after a problem.

What is stated today

How the plan is meant to help plumbing

Three things the whole-home plan is built around. Each one is written at the level of detail the plan has actually reached.

01

Plumbing is in the bundled visit

King’s Shield proposes two bundled seasonal visits that cover HVAC, plumbing and electrical in the same appointment, so the plumbing side of the house gets looked at on a schedule rather than only after a problem.

02

A reason to call early

An unnoticed drip is worth discussing with your plumber before it becomes a repair. A scheduled visit is the natural moment to raise it, at no additional visit cost under the plan.

03

One team, one record

The same team handles HVAC, plumbing and electrical requests for Cookeville and the Upper Cumberland, so what was found on the last visit is already known on the next one.

Straight answers

What it includes

King’s Shield is $20 a month. Care visits cover HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Repairs are quoted before work starts.

What plumbing work is included?

King’s Shield visits cover HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. We do not publish a task-by-task plumbing list. Repairs are quoted before work starts.

Do members pay less for a plumbing diagnostic?

King’s Shield and Queen’s Guard members pay no diagnostic fee. Checkmate Comfort members pay $39. Without a plan the listed fee is $89. If a repair follows, that fee goes toward the work.

Are repairs covered?

Membership is care visits, not unlimited repairs. Repair work is quoted and approved before it starts. No replacement coverage is promised.

Does a plan replace an emergency call?

No. If water damage, electrical danger, smoke, a gas odor or another immediate safety risk is present, use the appropriate emergency service. For an active after-hours emergency, call the business line so a person can assess the situation.
